Getting more & more intrigued by this subgenre called raggajungle and getting more & more into the production of it, Raggamuffin Whiteman who had been spinning dancehall, tropical music & urban music since 1994, decided it was time for an alter-ego to fully develop his love & interest for raggajungle and rave music.
Kambo Don was born.

People often refer to the lion as the king of the jungle, but lions live in the plains, the real king of the jungle is the Gorilla he's the Jungle Don.
Coming from Gorilla Sound this name came logical to Kambo Don as Kambo means Jungle and Don means rock in the Mangani language, which is the spoken language of the gorillas in the Jungle Book.
Kambo Don makes sense.

Over the years he has mixed & performed as Raggamuffin Whiteman & Kambo Don in Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Jamaica, Macedonia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, the UK and Ukraine, toured with DJ K, Capital J, General Malice, Unsoundbwoy & Mad Dem Sound and shared stages with people like Anthony B, Black Chiney, Buju Banton, Capleton, Cecile, Chopstick Dubplate, Cut Chemist, David Rodigan, Demarco, DJ Storm, Ky-Mani Marley, Lady Saw, Madlib, Massive B, Million Stylez, Mr Vegas, Nicky Blackmarlet, Poison Dart, Powpow Movement, Remarc, Robbo Ranx, Sean Paul, Tester, Tony Matterhorn, Ward 21, Wayne Wonder and much more.

Kambo Don has only been on the scene since january 2010 with this project, but already saw 2 releases on the infamous Hum Fi Drum label & 1 release on Humdruma Recordings, both based in Los Angeles, USA. You will see more releases on this label and the launch of and a decent amount of releases on Kambo Don's very own label Raffneck Records in 2011.

When DJ-ing Kambo Don combines his extensive knowledge of reggae & dancehall music, with his 17 years of experience as a DJ to give you a dancefloor set mixing his own productions with obscure dubplates you'll only hear other people play in a year, over the latest raggajungle releases and epic big chunes in raggajungle, dubwise, dnb & raggabass.
