AUDIO:
Audio's first experience with electronic music was in the Early 90's with the Colin Dale and Colin Favour radio shows on Kiss 100. He was instantly hooked, and when, a few years later, the classic "Wormhole LP" on Virus recordings was released, there was no turning back and he embraced the underground family that we know and love as, Drum&Bass. Inspired to start DJing, non-stop record buying and mixing followed, and he was soon playing at local illegal raves around London. Production was the next logical step for him, experimenting with various pieces of hardware over the next few years. After a chance meeting, Audio was handed a CD with the programs Acid 1.0 and Reason 1.0, and from that moment things dramatically changed. soon afer he began releasing tracks and getting a buzz around him, From this Audio became the main produder behind Resonant Evil and went on to have releases on Renegade Hardware, G2 , Outbreak and Moving Shadow, this also lead to many opportunities DJing across Europe. Moving to present day,Audio has joined Dylan's fiendish family and has become a member of the Freak / Anger Management & Therapy Sessions cult and has been concentrating purely on his solo material,bringing His own special brand of twisted techy darkness that has been consistently demolishing dance floors all over the UK and Europe! With some of the most highly anticipated releases scheduled for Freak Recordings, released now is the monster 12inch "Warehouse"/"Destroyed" one of the biggest singles of the past years, released is his debut EP "Designed For War EP" he recently just released a track on Subtitles "Missing", a remix of Tech Itch & Jakes "Retribution", and a remix of BSEs "The Cooler". Recently he collaborated on a killer with Dylan, more info on that coming soon..big things! Audio is currently DJing all over europe and is a resident at the infamous "Therapy Sessions" parties worldwide, it is hopeless to resist this Bad Seed!
COUNTERSTRIKE:
Counterstrike, also known as Animal Chin and 500 Mills, have been active Drum&Bass DJ's/Producers since the mid Nineties. Collectively producing since 1998, they've had over 40 12inch vinyl releases on various high profile labels such as Rob Playford's Moving Shadow, Dieselboy's Human and Dylan's Obscene. Algorythm Recordings, their own imprint, was re-launched in 2005 and include releases from artists such as Current Value, Limewax, SPL, T.Z.A and Axis&Trank. They've also been working on their much anticipated debut album - Insubordination which was released on Algorythm early in 2008. Apart from their busy production schedule they still find the time to regularly perform in Europe and the USA. 2007 saw them DJing in 16 countries.
PROKET:
Alexey Ogienko (alias Proket) was born in Norilsk, Russia in 1986. in 2001 he started with electronic music and instantly took a liking it to it. It wasn't long untill he started getting good feedback and recognition from well-known russian producers and DJs such as Sta, Profit, Sunchase and Cyborc (Illuminati). Proket formed Prode with his friends Denix, Roland and Feom around 2002. In 2003 Proket remixed a tune called "Let It Be" by the estonian producer Bad MF with vocals by Bad Girl. The track became a huge success and was played on a number of radio stations throughout Russia and the Ukraine.
In 2004 Prode and Logical collaborated on 2 tunes: "El Nino" and "Breakage", signed by Recon Recordings and were played by ones like Raiden, Optiv, Lethal&Khanage, Profit, Pyro and others. "El Nino" has even been featured on Dogsonacid's charts. Another collaboration between Prode and Logical called "Dooms Day" was picked by Dylan for his label Freak Recordings.
in 2005 Proket sent Chris Jarman (Raiden) his tune proportion. One of the first signings to Raiden's label Offkey Recordings - a label that would push Proket the most. New Proket/Raiden collaboration material began to appear with tunes like "Vodkabite", "Skafandr" and "B4".
2006 brought even more luck and tracks like "Gardarika" and "Cubic". Proket and Prode finally got the recognition that was rightfully deserved. Legendary label DSCI4 took both tracks for the fourth part of the smashing "Spy Technologies LP" series, these tunes were played by Raiden, Optiv, Dieselboy, Loxy, Limewax, SPL and The Panacea among others. In 2007 Offkey Recordings released Proket's first EP - it was called "Apocrypha EP", this included "Guta", "Skafandr", "Kaskad" and "Show Me" - all four tracks became known as Proket's best work so far and truly catapulted him into the limelight.
The definition that Proket applies for his sound is Schranz&Bass, by combining the two Proket creates his own unique sound that can not be confused with anything else. His output is defining the new wave of Techno-Drum&Bass.
GORO & DEPHZAC:
Blackrain crew started up around the year 2002 by connection of two producers, Goro and Dephzac. They started to organize Drum&Bass parties in Club No.3 and from the title of these parties was created the name of their label Blackrain. In April 2004 they released their first record under catalog number BR001 on their own label and began to present their production in almost all slovak clubs. In these days, DJ Shortz from England joined their cru. He brought precise scratch with connection of perfect DJ-Art to the area of Slovakia. With progress of time offers for playing in Poland, Nederland, Austria or Czech Republic are coming and they're also asked to do an interview for the most popular Drum&Bass magazine in the world - Knowledge Magazine. They get space in home and abroad radio stations, remixes made by well known producents are done from their tracks. In 2005 they started their own OpenAir called "Rainbow Festival". If you had the luck to see and hear this Duo as they play energetic and tough beats with supplements of gentle melodies to the rhytm for you in the club , you know, what am I talking about. They definetely wont let you to sit quiet in the corner and wait for the DJ coming next. You're going to dance your head off on the floor. So, this is Goro and Dephzac, the Blackrain Cru.
